Applications are invited for sanction of Pratibha Scholarship @ Rs.20,000/- p.a for the duration of the course extending to 4 and 5 years from the students of Andhra Pradesh State
1. Who secured admissions in B.Tech/ BE(Hons)/ B.E/ B.Pharm/ MBBS/ PGDBM/ MMS programmes for the academic year 2004-05 in National level Institutions
2. Students who have taken admission in BITS Pilani in the year 2003-2004 in group B programme viz. MSc(Hons) Biological Science, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics after they switch over to Group(A) programs viz BE(Hons), B.Pharm(Hons) and MMS (These students have to apply for scholarship for both first and second year at a time now).
3. Students who are admitted into national level institutions in the year 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-2004 and sanctioned / eligible for scholarship for the year 2003-04 to renew the scholarship for the year 2004.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1.Candidate should be native of the state of Andhra Pradesh .
2.He/she should have obtained a minimum of I class with 60% marks in qualifying exam i.e. Intermediate public examination or XII class or Degree or its equivalent.
3.He/she should not be a recipient of any other scholarship. In case he/she is selected for this scholarship as well as any other scholarship she/he will have to opt any one scholarship which ever is beneficial.
4.The candidate has to submit the following in case of Fresh applicants:
Filled in application form duly signed by applicant, and Head of the institution.
Enclosing the following certificates along with application f orm
Attested copy of Marks of the qualifying exam i.e Intermediate or equivalent/Degree as the case may be.
Residence certificate issued by concerned MRO for a period of 4 years or study certificates for 4 years ending with qualifying exam in A.P .
In case of AP candidates who passed qualifying exam outside AP, have to submit 10 years of Residence Certificate of their parents in AP issued by concerned MRO
5.In case of renewals , the candidates have to attach the marks sheet of the previous years exam along with filled in application form duly signed by applicant & Head of the Institution. The candidates have to pass all subjects in one attempt & secure 60% of marks in the previous year for renewal of scholarship.
6.Use separate application for fresh and renewal of scholarship.
Copy of the application format and instructions to candidates for filling the applications may be obtained from the Dean/Assistant Registrar (Academic)/Principal of the Institutions or can be downloaded from the website
